Jon Terra is a musical art project blending elements from various genres such as Psychedelic Rock, Alternative Rock, Pop, and Folk Rock.

The project began in 2022, with the track ‘Nature’s Garden,’ though, this early version was never officially released. In 2025, the track had a sonic makeover and was re-recorded and released as a track on the debut album, The Man I Used to Be.

This debut album blended Alt and Progressive Rock, with elements of Psychedelic Rock. It has been described as loosely being a Rock opera, due to its story-telling of the recurring character, known only as ‘the Man I used to be.’

In November 2025, a deluxe version of the album was released, showcasing new artwork and five new tracks.

Jon Terra’s second album, Cold Sun, will be released in the first quarter of 2026.

The lyrics, song structure, chord progressions, and unique sounds are written by a human. AI is used as an assistive tool to blend the ideas and raw tracks and transform them into the final product. We believe that by doing this, we keep the ‘soul’ of the tracks.
